RSGA has been serving Sugar Land community since 2015, and continues its presence especially throughout the pandemic when most childcare centers in the area had to temporarily shut down. 

One might ask what makes RSGA different and stay open during the worst COVID-19 lock-downs in 2020? 

The answer lies in:

- The center’s management and staff's commitment to stay open in order to provide assistance to first responders’ families during the most difficult times as their children needed be taken care of while they were at work saving lives, caring for the sick and fighting the coronavirus.

- The community (parents and children) 's commitment  to follow strict protocols that the center set out to protect the staff and the children. This cooperation helped stop COVID-19 at the door and keep everyone in the center safe and well.

The children attending  RSGA while the pandemic wrecked havoc in 2020 not only had a safe place to spend the day but also a place to learn and thrive as if pandemic never happened! Wearing masks, frequent hand washing, mandatory social distancing didn't bother them as they were having great fun making masks for people, singing and dancing as well as writing messages for the health workers and first responders! The unbearable lock-down had a silver lining: the children at RSGA  have learnt to embrace the hardship and reached out to each other with kindness! 

Surviving and thriving during the hardest year 2020 gives us the confidence that our center will continue playing an important role in caring and educating our children, equipping them with strength and knowledge that will enable them to handle difficult situations they may again encounter later in their life. 

Ultimately, at RSGA we are family! We are not only caring for the children's well-being while they are here with us but we are also encouraging them to become the best that they can be. We want them to learn and leap into the future with confidence!
